How to Start Page Numbers on a Specific Page in Microsoft Works
1. Start a new document in Microsoft Works
2. Click the 'View' menu at the top of the window, and select 'Header and Footer.'
3. Click the 'Header' area at the top of a page or the 'Footer' area at the bottom, depending on where you want the page numbers to be located.
4. Click the 'Insert' menu, and select 'Page Numbers.' Microsoft Works numbers each page of the document.
5. Click the 'File' menu, and select 'Page Setup.'
6. Select the 'Other Options' tab at the top of the window.
7. Click the 'No header on first page' or 'No footer on first page' check box, depending on where you placed the page numbers.
8. Click the 'Starting Page Number' field and type the number '0.'
9. Click 'OK.'
