How to Disable Tracking in Word 2007


1. Open the Microsoft Word 2007 file on your computer that has tracking enabled.
2. Click on the 'Review' tab and then click on the 'Track Changes' button from the 'Tracking' group. The track changes feature will then be turned off.
3. Click on the 'Track Changes' button again to turn the feature back on. All of the changes will be shown.
4. Click on the 'Accept' or 'Decline' button for each change to completely remove the change feature from your document.
5. Right-click on the status bar when you are finished accepting and rejecting changes. Click on the 'Track Changes' option and the track changes status will appear as 'Off.'
