How to Switch Columns in MS Word 2007

1. Click on the 'Page Layout' button on the top of the Microsoft Word 2007 window.
2. Click somewhere in the first column to bring up the cursor. The procedure will create a break between this column and the one to the right of it.
3. Click on the 'Insert Page and Section Breaks' button in the 'Page Setup' part of the toolbar. If your screen is too small, the button may be called 'Breaks,' or it may not be labeled. It just looks like two separated pages.
4. Click on 'Column' from the drop-down menu. The cursor will now move to the second column and you can click between the first and second. If you fill up the first column with information, Word will create another column between the first and second to hold your information.
