How to Convert Word 2007 to Word 97

1. Open the Word 2007 document you want to convert in the Word 2007 program.
2. Click the 'Microsoft Office Button' in the top left corner and select 'Save As.'
3. Type a name for the Word document file if you want to change the file's name.
4. Select 'Word 97-2003 Format' from the 'Save as type' drop-down menu, then click 'Save.' Word 2007 converts the document into compatibility mode, allowing it to open in Word 97.
