How to Merge Pictures in Word
1. Open your document in Word.
2. Select the "Insert" tab and go to the "Illustrations" group. Select "Shapes" and "New Drawing Canvas" to insert the drawing canvas.
3. Select and cut ("CTRL" + "x") the first image you want to merge from its current location and paste ("CTRL" + "v") it into the drawing canvas. Do the same for any other images you want to merge.
4. Select the pictures you want to merge in the drawing canvas. To select multiple images, click the first image and hold down the "CTRL" key as you click other images.
5. Select the "Format" tab in the ribbon.
6. Choose "Group" twice from the "Arrange" group to merge the pictures.
7. Select and cut ("CTRL" + "x") the pictures from the drawing canvas.
8. Click the area where the empty drawing canvas is located to make it visible. Select the canvas and press the "Delete" key to remove it from your page.
9. Press "CTRL" + "v" to paste the merged pictures in your document.
