How to Stop Word From Asking to Save Changes When Closing a Document
1. Open your version of Microsoft Word.
2. Click the round 'Office' button in the top left-hand corner of the program window in Word 2007 and select 'Word Options.' For Word 2010, click 'File,' and then select 'Options' from the drop-down menu.
3. Select 'Advanced,' and then 'Save' from the list provided.
4. Uncheck the box labeled 'Prompt Before Saving Normal Template.' Click 'OK' to save all changes.
