How Do You Make Something Fit the Width of the Page in Microsoft Word?
1. Open the document that you want to adjust in Microsoft Word.
2. Click the 'Page Layout' tab in the Ribbon.
3. Click the 'Margins' button in the Ribbon. Select 'Custom Margins' from the menu.
4. Press the 'Decrease' button on the left side of each margin adjustment box to set the 'Top,' 'Bottom,' 'Left,' and 'Right,' margins to '0.00.' Click 'OK' to apply the new margins to your page. The text in your document will automatically adjust to the new margin settings.
5. Click on the object in your document to manually adjust its size. Select the small handle-shaped icons that appear on the edge of the object, and drag each one with the mouse cursor. Stretch your images and objects to the edges of the page.
