How to Find a Word Document Saved in My Temp Folder

1. Click the 'Windows Start' button. Go to 'My Computer.'
2. Click the 'Local Disk (C:)' icon. Scroll down to the 'Windows' file folder and then click on it.
3. Scroll down until you see your 'Temp' file folder. Click on it to open the folder. Scroll until you see your Word document. Once you have located your Word document, select your document by clicking on it once and then right-click your mouse to click 'Cut.'
4. Close the 'Temp' folder. Click the 'Windows Start' button and then click to open the 'My Documents' folder. Once the folder is open, right-click your mouse to click 'Paste.' Your Word document is now in your 'My Documents' folder.
