How to Open a Scanned Word Document in Office


1. Save the scanned Word document to your desktop since this is the most accessible place on your system.
2. Open your Word application.
3. Click 'File' on the main menu bar. Scroll down and click 'Open.'
4. Browse for the file that you saved to your desktop in Step 1.
5. Highlight it and click the 'Open' button.
