How to Indent Paragraphs in Microsoft Word 2007
1. Open Microsoft Word 2007 and load your document.
2. Place your cursor in front of the paragraphs you want to indent.
3. Left-click and drag your mouse until you've selected all of the paragraphs that should be indented. To select every paragraph in your document, press 'Ctrl+A.'
4. Click the 'Page Layout' tab of the Office ribbon. Find the 'Paragraph' group.
5. Click the up or down arrows beside 'Left' in the Indent section to indent the entire left margin of each selected paragraph. Click the up or down arrows beside 'Right' to indent the entire right margin of each selected paragraph.
First Line or Hanging
6. Open your document. Select the paragraphs to indent. Click 'Page Layout' and find the Paragraph group.
7. Click the 'Paragraph Dialog Box Launcher' in the bottom right corner of the Paragraph group.
8. Click the 'Indents and Spacing' tab of the Paragraph dialog box. Find the Indentation section.
9. Click the drop-down box beneath 'Special.' Select 'First Line' or 'Hanging.' Click the up or down arrow in the box beneath 'By' to adjust the size of the indent.
10. Click 'OK.'
