How to Create Letterhead With Word


1. Open a blank page in Microsoft Word.
2. Click on "View" in the toolbar, and click "Header and Footer." Click "Format" from the toolbar and then click "Tabs." Click the "Clear All" button and then click "OK."
3. Choose the font, font size and font color you wish to use by making adjustments in the "Formatting" toolbar. Also click "Format" from the standard toolbar and then click "Font." This will bring up the "Font" dialog box, which gives you several options to adjust your font.
4. Hit the "Tab" key twice, and then type in your name or business name. Hit "Tab" again and then type in your phone number. Hit "Enter" to go to the next line.
5. Hit the "Tab" key twice, and then type in your street address. Use your space bar to align your cursor with your phone number on the previous line, and type in your fax number. Hit the "Enter" key to go to the next line.
6. Hit the "Tab" key twice, and then type in your city, state and zip code. Use your space bar to align your cursor with your phone number on the previous line, and type in your email or website address.
7. On the "Header and Footer" toolbar, click "Close." Click "File" from the toolbar and then click "Save As." Name the document "Letterhead."
