How to Set Line Spacing Using Open Office

1. Open a new document so a blank page appears in Open Office. If you want to double space existing text, highlight the text that you want to change.
2. Click on the “Format” tab at the top of the page. A scroll down list will appear directly under the format tab.
3. Scroll down using your mouse to where it says “Paragraph” and click on it. A pop up box will appear in the middle of your screen.
4. Locate “Line Spacing” in the pop up box.
5. Click on the drop down box directly under it. In the drop down box you will see six different options for spacing.
6. Click on “Double” for double spacing your text.
7. Click “OK” at the bottom of the pop up box.
