How to Change an Open Office Form From a Read

1. Click the Windows “Start” button and select “Explore” from the context menu. Windows Explorer will open.
2. Navigate to the read-only OpenOffice form to update.
3. Right-click on the read-only OpenOffice form.
4. Select “Properties” from the context menu.
5. Uncheck the “Read-Only” option at the bottom of the Properties window in the Attributes section. Click "Apply" then "OK."
6. Click “OK”.
7. Test the document by opening in a compatible application, editing the document and resaving. If the changes are captured when the edited version of the document is saved, you successfully turned off the read-only attribute.
