How to Install Microsoft Word on an HP Pavilion

1. Insert the Office CD into your HP Pavillion's disc drive. Wait for the Setup Wizard to start.
2. Type your 25-character product key and click 'Continue.'
3. Check the box for 'I accept the terms of this agreement' then click 'Continue.'
4. Click on 'Upgrade' button or 'Install now' to begin the installation. The Upgrade button displays if you have an existing version of Word installed. Install Now shows if there is no other version of Word on your computer. It should take 15 to 40 minutes, depending upon the speed of your laptop. Once the installation has finished, click 'Close.'
