How to Delete Properties in MS Word

1. Open your Word document.
2. Click the Microsoft Office logo in the upper-left corner. Click 'Save As' in the menu that appears. Save the file under any filename. You are making a copy of your work in case the Document Inspector tool harms your original document in any way.
3. Click the logo again in the original document. Under Prepare, click 'Inspect Document.'
4. Check the options you want the tool to inspect. Unless there is something within your document you wish to keep, checking off all of the options is the best route. The Inspection Manager is displayed here, and it will inform you of the different kinds of data it's capable of searching for. Click 'Inspect' and wait for the process to finish. Depending on the size of your document, the time may vary.
5. Click 'Remove All' to remove the hidden personal data.
