How to Import a Word Document into a Publisher Document
1. Open Publisher by double clicking on the Publisher Icon.
2. Go to the File pull-down menu and click once on 'New.'
3. Go to the File pull-down menu again. Click on it.
4. Put the cursor on 'Import Word Document.' Click once on it. The Import Word Document window will pop up. You will need to find the document you want to import and click on it.
5. Click 'OK.' Publisher will automatically convert the Word file to a Publisher document. You will need to name the new file and save it as a publisher file by going to the file menu, clicking on it and then clicking on 'Save As.' The 'Save As' window will pop up.
6. Use the down arrow to the right of 'Save' In to find the folder you want to save the file in. Click once on it. Type the name you want to call the file at the bottom of the 'Save As' window. Click 'Save.'
7. Click Save.
