How to Create a Macro in Word 2007


Enabling the Developer Ribbon
1. Select 'Microsoft Word Options' under the Office Button menu.
2. Click 'Popular' in the Microsoft Word Options window.
3. Find the 'Show Developer tab in the Ribbon' box (under 'Top options for working with Word') and select it.
4. Click 'OK.'
Recording a Macro
5. Click 'Record Macro' on the Developer ribbon, Code group.
6. Name the Macro in the Record box. Give it a description and change its save location.
7. Click 'OK.' Word immediately begins recording the macro.
8. Click through the formatting steps you wish to record for the macro.
9. Click 'Stop Recording' in the Code group.
