How to Create Vector Drawings in Word 2007


1. Open a new document in Word 2007.
2. Click on 'New Drawing Canvas' under the 'Shapes' icon on the 'Insert' tab.
3. Click on the 'Format' icon under the 'Drawing Tools' tab. Click on 'More' under the 'Insert Shapes' icon. Choose the shapes and lines that will be used to illustrate the graphic. Draw the image. Explore the tools available, including stroke, fill, and linetype.
4. Save the document as a PDF when the image is complete. The PDF will contain the vector graphic, and it can be edited with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, or any other illustration program.Some programs can copy the vector graphic to the clipboard.
