How to Turn Off AutoFormat for Word 2007
1. Open Word 2007 and click on the 'Microsoft Office' button in the upper-left corner. Select 'Word Options' from the menu.
2. Click on 'Auto Correction Options' to open the Auto Correct and Auto Format menu.
3. Click on the 'Auto Format' tab. View the options. Each option must be manually disabled by removing the check mark. Some example options include 'Auto Hyphens' and 'Auto Hyperlinks.' Remove the Auto Format options you do not want, or all of them if you want none.
4. Click on the 'Auto Format As You Type' tab. Remove the check marks from the options that you do not want. Click 'Ok' to close the 'Word Options' menu.
