How To Access Word Templates in Office XP

1. Open Microsoft Word on your computer.
2. In the ribbon on the top of your screen, click on the Microsoft icon that appears on the top left.
3. Select 'New.' A 'New Documents' window will appear.
4. On the left side of the window appears a list of of templates already installed on your computer under the 'Templates' header. Click on the template you're interested in and press 'Create.'
5. If you don't find the template you need, look below the 'Templates' header under the 'Microsoft Office Online' header. Select a category of interest and you'll be directed to the Microsoft website that contains downloadable templates.
