How to Recover a Saved

Word 2007
1. Launch Word 2007 and click the Microsoft Office button. A floating window will open.
2. Click 'Open.' A dialog box will open.
3. Select 'All Files' from the file type drop-down list.
4. Look for your document name with the file extension '.wbk' and click to open it.
5. Save the recovered file.
Word 2003
6. Launch Word 2003. Click 'File' then click 'Open.' A dialog box will open.
7. Select 'All Files *.*' as the file type.
8. Look for your document name with the file extension '.wbk' and click to open it.
9. Save the recovered file.
