How to Create Powerpoint Handouts in Microsoft Word


Create PowerPoint Handouts in Microsoft Word 2003
1. Open the presentation in PowerPoint 2003.
2. Go to the "File" menu. Point to "Send To" and select "Microsoft Word." The "Send to Microsoft Office Word" dialog box will open.
3. Select either "Blank Lines Next to Slides" or "Blank Lines Below Slides."
4. Click "OK." The PowerPoint handouts will open in Word as a new document. Edit the handouts as desired and then print them.

5. Open the presentation in PowerPoint 2007.
6. Click the "Office Button." Select "Publish" and click "Create Handouts in Microsoft Office Word." The "Send to Microsoft Office Word" dialog box will open.
7. Select either "Blank Lines Next to Slides" or "Blank Lines Below Slides."
8. Click "OK." The PowerPoint handouts will open in Word as a new document. Edit the handouts as desired and then print them to hand out during your presentation.

9. Open the presentation in PowerPoint 2010.
10. Go to the "File" tab and click on "Share."
11. Click "Create Handouts" in the "Share" list. Click the "Create Handouts" button on the right. The "Send to Microsoft Office Word" dialog box will open.
12. Select either "Blank Lines Next to Slides" or "Blank Lines Below Slides."
13. Click "OK" The PowerPoint handouts will open in Word as a new document. Edit the handouts as desired and then print them to hand out during your presentation.
