How to Turn off Widows and Orphans in MS Word 2007

1. Click the 'Page Layout' tab on the Ribbon.
2. Launch the Paragraph dialog box by clicking the small diagonal arrow in the right-hand lower corner of the Paragraph group on the Ribbon.
3. Click the 'Line and Page Breaks' tab at the top of the Paragraph dialog box.
4. Click the box next to 'Widow/Orphan Control,' under the heading Pagination, near the top of the dialog box. By clicking the box, you will remove the check mark and deselect the option.
5. Click 'OK' at the bottom of the dialog box.
