How to Draw Lines on Microsoft Word 2007

1. Click the Insert tab on the top bar (referred to as the Ribbon) of your opened Microsoft Word document.
2. Select the 'Shapes' drop-down button in the Illustrations tab, which is defaulted to the second button from the left. A menu of different shapes appears. Look for the 'Lines' section and pick a line shape such as arrowed or curved. The first line on the left is the standard line.
3. Move the cross hairs to the place you want your line to start. Hold the left-click mouse button and drag it in the direction you want your line drawn. When you let go of the left-click button, your line will stop.
