How to Create a Drop

1. Open Microsoft Word 2007.
2. Place the cursor in the document where you want the drop-down list to appear.
3. Click the 'Developer' tab.
4. Click the 'Drop-Down List' icon in the 'Controls' group. The drop-down list will appear. With the drop-down list still highlighted, click 'Properties' under the 'Controls' group. The 'Content Controls Properties' window will open.
5. Add a title and tag if you will be referencing the object from other objects or through code.
6. Click the 'Add' button in the 'Drop-Down List Properties' section. The 'Add Choice' window will open. Type in an entry that you want displayed in the drop-down menu. Don't worry about 'Value.' Click the 'OK' button. Continue to do this until all of your required entries have been inputted.
