How to Disable Compatibility Mode in Word 2007

1. Open your document in Microsoft Office Word 2007.
2. Click the Microsoft Office button in the top left corner of the window.
3. Click 'Convert.'
4. Click 'OK' in the box that pops up warning that you are about to convert the document and its layout may change as a result. This disables Compatibility Mode for your document.
