How to Multiply in a Word Document
1. Click 'Table' from the horizontal menu bar at the top of the screen. Select 'Formula' in the drop-down menu that opens.
2. Click the arrow to the right of 'Paste function' to open a drop-down menu and select 'Product.' After completing this step, '=Product( )' will appear on the top line of the Formula menu, with the cursor between the parenthesis.
3. Type the numbers to multiply between parenthesis, separating each number with a comma. Click 'OK,' and the Formula menu will close. The answer to the multiplication problem will appear in your document at the location of your cursor.
