How to Quickly Remove Line Breaks in Microsoft Word
1. Click within your Microsoft Word document, and press the 'Ctrl' + 'F' keys on your keyboard simultaneously to launch the Word Find utility. A new window appears.
2. Click on the 'Replace' tab. Enter '^l^l' (lowercase Ls; represents line breaks) into the 'Find What' field. Enter '^p' (indicates a paragraph break) into the 'Replace With' field. Click 'Replace All.' A dialog box appears notifying you of how many replacements Word made. Click 'OK.'
3. Enter '^l' (lowercase L) into the 'Find What' field. Enter a single space into the 'Replace With' field. Click 'Replace All' a second time. A dialog box appears notifying you of how many replacements Word made. Click 'OK.'
