How to Rotate Text 90 Degrees on Microsoft Word Processing
1. Open Word. Click the 'Insert' tab at the top of the work area, then click the 'Text Box' button.
2. Click the first option, 'Simple Text Box.' This adds a text box to the Word document.
3. Highlight existing text from another Word document, then copy and paste it inside the text box, or type it into the text box directly.
4. Click the border of the text box to highlight it. Word's new orange 'Text Box Tools' tab appears at the top of the workspace and its ribbon appears below it.
5. Click the 'Shape Outline' button and select 'No Outline.' Click the 'Shape Fill' option and select 'No Fill.'
6. Click the 'Rotate' button on the ribbon. Choose either 'Rotate Right 90' or 'Rotate Left 90.'
