How to Use Balloons in Word 2007

Turning on Balloons
1. Open Microsoft Office Word 2007.
2. Click 'Review' in the Microsoft Word ribbon. The ribbon is the navigation panel on the top of the Word 2007 window.
3. Click the 'Show Markup' button, which is part of the 'Tracking' group.
4. Click 'Comments.'
Inserting Comment Balloons
5. Click next to the text you wish to comment on. Hold the mouse button down and drag your mouse to select the text.
6. Click the 'Review' tab on the Word ribbon.
7. Click 'New Comment.' Type your comment in the balloon.
Deleting Balloons
8. Locate the balloon you wish to delete.
9. Right click the balloon.
10. Click 'Delete Comment' if it is a comment balloon. Select to reject the change if it is a revision balloon.
