How to Use Portrait Landscape in the Same Word Document


1. Click the 'Start' menu on the taskbar of your computer's desktop, then select 'All Programs,' then 'Microsoft Office,' then 'Microsoft Word.'
2. Click the Office logo located in the upper left corner of Microsoft Word, and on the dropdown menu that appears, click 'Open.' Use the new window that appears to navigate through your folders to find the Word document in which you wish to use both portrait and landscape modes. Double-click on its icon to open the document.
3. Scroll down to where you want to change the orientation of the document. Place your cursor there, then click 'Page Layout' in the taskbar at the top of your Word document. In the dropdown menu that appears, click 'Breaks.' In the new window that appears, click 'Section Break' to insert a section break.
4. Click 'Orientation' in the taskbar at the top of your Word document, and in the dropdown menu that appears, click 'Landscape' to change this section to landscape.
5. Scroll down to where you want to change the orientation of the document back to portrait printing mode. Place your cursor there, then click 'Page Layout' in the taskbar at the top of your Word document. In the dropdown menu that appears, click 'Breaks.' In the new window that appears, click 'Section Break' to insert a section break.
6. Click 'Orientation' in the taskbar at the top of your Word document, and in the dropdown menu that appears, click 'Portrait' to change this section to portrait mode.
