How to Change Line Spacing on a Numbered List in Word 2007
1. Open the Word 2007 application on your computer and then click on the 'Microsoft Office' button. Click on the 'Open' option.
2. Locate the Word file that contains the numbered list that you want to work with and then click on the 'Open' button.
3. Select all of the text in the numbered list using your mouse so that it's highlighted. Click on the 'Home' tab.
4. Click on the 'Line Spacing' option from the 'Paragraph' group. Click on the number of line spaces you want, such as clicking on the '2.0' option for double-spaced lines or the '1.0' option for single-spaced lines.
5. Click on the 'Line Spacing Options' to change any other line spacing below the 'Spacing' heading. Click in the numbered list of your document and you'll see that the line spacing has changed.
