How to Write Subscripts in MS Word

1. Write the word or number and subscript as two words or numbers. For example: Ericson 12. Highlight the entity you want to make a subscript; in this example, you would highlight '12.'
2. Go to 'Format' in the toolbar and click 'Font.' Click the 'Font' tab that appears in the window.
3. Check next to 'Subscript,' then click 'OK.' Check in your document to make sure what you highlighted now appears as a subscript.
