How Do I Set Indents for Paragraph Spaces for the Tab Key in a Word Document?

1. Open Microsoft Word and click the "Page Layout" tab from the toolbar at the top of the screen. You can change the margins and indentation settings here.
2. Click the arrow button in the Paragraph section to view all Paragraph options. You can change indentation and tab settings here.
3. Click the "Tabs" button located at the bottom of the Paragraph box. The "Default tab stops" box shows how far a new paragraph is currently indented when you hit the Tab key.
4. Change the number in the "Default tab stops" box to the length you want the Tab key to indent a new paragraph. Click "OK."
5. Press the Tab key to make sure you are satisfied with the new settings.
