How to Make a Microsoft Word Table Fit Onto One Page
Adjust Margins
1. Open the Word document with the table you want to adjust.
2. Click 'Page Layout' on the Ribbon and select 'Margins.'
3. Click the 'Narrow' option or one of the other predefined margin sizes.
4. Click 'Custom Margins' if one of the predefined margin sizes does not meet your needs. Enter the margin size in the top, bottom, left and right boxes. Click 'OK.'
Shrink Table
5. Open the Word document with the table you want to adjust.
6. Hover your mouse over the bottom right corner of the table until you see a white box and a two-sided diagonal arrow appear.
7. Click and drag the diagonal arrow up if the table is too long or to the left if the table is too wide. If you do this slowly enough, you should see the table jump to one page.
