How to Remove the Anchor in Office 2007
1. Right-click the image that you want to change the anchor settings for, and then click 'Size and Position.'
2. Click the 'Text Wrapping' tab at the top of the window.
3. Select 'In line with text,' and then click 'OK.' Inline images do not have anchors, and this removes the anchor from the image completely. You can reading here, if you like. If you wanted to keep the anchor but change the associated settings, skip this step.
4. Click the 'Position' tab at the top of the window.
5. Select the check box labeled 'Move object with text' if you want the image to move whenever the associated anchor moves within the text.
6. Select the 'Lock anchor' check box if you want the anchor for your image to stay in the same place when the layout of the text changes.
7. Click 'OK' to save your changes.
