How to Add the French Dictionary to Microsoft Word
1. Click on the "Start" button or the Windows icon at the bottom left-hand corner of the desktop.
2. Click on "All Programs" to bring up a list of all programs. Scroll down until you find "Microsoft Office."
3. Highlight the "Microsoft Office" folder by moving your cursor over it or double-click the folder in the menu. This will bring up a list of commands. Highlight or click on "Microsoft Office Tools."
4. Click on "Microsoft Office Language Settings" to bring up a command window with the available languages for the Office programs.
5. Scroll through the available languages until you find French (France). Click the language to select it and then click the "Add" button. If you wish to change the default editing language, click on the drop-down menu and select the language you will be writing in. Click "OK" to make the changes permanent.
