How to Lock a Connector Line in MS Word 2007
1. Open the Microsoft Word 2007 file on your computer that you want to connect a drawing image to using connector lines.
2. Click on the “Insert” tab and then click on the “Shapes” option from the “Illustrations” group. Click on the “New Drawings Canvas” option.
3. Select the “Format” tab, then click on the “More” button from the “Insert Shapes” group.
4. Click on the type of line that you want to add to your document below the “Lines” heading. Then click on the “Lock Drawing Mode” option.
5. Click in the document where you want to add the line, then drag your mouse to draw the connector line. Press the “ESC” key when you’re finished adding connector lines.
