How to Make Business Cards in Microsoft Word 2007

How to Make Business Cards in Microsoft Word 2007
1. Obtain or purchase sheets of blank business cards. By purchasing your own blank business card sheets, you can choose the color and thickness of the card stock. Make note of the manufacturer and item numbers as popular manufacturers such as Avery have readily available templates for creating business cards in Microsoft Word 2007.
2.
Download the Word template provided by the manufacturer. For Avery products, you can go to avery.com and enter the product number to search for the template. You may need to submit user information such as name, email address and country to complete the download.
3.
Open the downloaded template in Microsoft Word 2007. If no downloads are available, create your own template based on the dimensions and perforations in the blank business card sheets. You may use the 'Margins' button under the Page Layout tab and the 'Table' button under the Insert tab to customize printable areas.
4.
Insert images, enter contact information, format text and customize as needed. With the business card designed in one rectangle, you can copy and paste the design into the other spaces on the page.
5. Load blank business card sheets into your printer as designated by the manufacturer and print your newly designed business cards.
