How to Use Function Keys in Microsoft Word
1. Launch Word by clicking 'Start,' then 'All programs,' then 'Microsoft Office,' then 'Word.'
2. Load a document by pressing 'Ctrl' and 'O' and selecting the file containing the document you want to load.
3. Press a function key to execute the keyboard shortcut associated with it, as per the following table:PRESS/ TO DO THISF1 / Get Help or visit Microsoft Office.comF2 / Move text or graphicsF4 / Repeat the last actionF5 / Choose the 'Go To' command (Home tab)F6 / Go to the next pane or frameF7 / Choose the 'Spelling' command (Review tab)F8 / Extend a selectionF9 / Update the selected fieldsF10 / Show KeyTipsF11 / Go to the next fieldF12 / Choose the 'Save As' command
