How to Edit an Essay's Balloons in Microsoft Word

1. Open the Word document.
2. Click the 'Review' tab on the command ribbon.
3. Click the down arrow on the 'Show Markup' command. A list of commands opens.
4. Click to insert a check next to 'Comments,' 'Ink,' 'Insertions and Deletions' and 'Formatting and Reviewers.' Check 'All Reviewers' in the Reviewers command. The 'Markup Area' displays the balloons or comments in a pane to the right.
5. Click the text you wish to edit in the comment box or balloon.
6. Edit the comment.
7. Edit the next comment by clicking the next balloon or by clicking the 'Next' button in the 'Comments' or 'Changes' group.
8. Press 'Ctrl'+'S' to save the document.
