How to Use Microsoft Word Excel Software


How to Use MS Word
1. Click the Windows 'Start' button.Choose 'Programs.'
2. Choose 'Microsoft Office' from the program list. Click on the 'Microsoft Office Word 2003' icon.
3. Click on the 'New blank document' icon on the toolbar to begin using the MS word.
4. Format your document text by choosing the 'Font' drop down list on the application toolbar.
5. Choose a font from the list like 'Times New Roman.' Choose the 'font' size by clicking on the drop down list from the tool bar; 12 is a standard point size.
6. Apply 'Styles and Formatting' to your document by choosing 'Format' from command menu bar.
7. Click on the 'Save' icon to save your new MS word document to the default location chosen by the application or choose your own.
8. Reopen your Microsoft Word document by double clicking on it.
How to Use Microsoft Excel
9. Click the Windows 'Start' button. Choose 'Programs.'
10. Choose Microsoft Office from the program list.
11. Click on the 'Microsoft Office Excel 2003' icon.
12. Click on the 'New' icon on the toolbar to begin using the MS Excel.
13. Format your worksheet 'Cell', 'Row' and 'Columns' by choosing each item from the 'Format' drop down list on the application toolbar.
14. Choose a font from the list such as 'Arial' by clicking on the 'Font' drop down box on the toolbar.
15. Click on the 'Save' icon on the toolbar to save your new MS Excel file to the default location chosen by the application or choose your own.
16. Reopen your Microsoft Excel file by double clicking on the Excel file.
