How to Save to Word 2007 From OpenOffice
1. Open OpenOffice. Ensure that you have version 3.0 or later. Click 'Help,' then 'About Openoffice.org' to check the version number. If you have an older version, click the link to the OpenOffice website (see 'Resources.') Click 'I want to download OpenOffice.org.' Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the latest version of OpenOffice.
2. Open the document you want to save in OpenOffice, or write a new one.
3. Click 'File' followed by 'Save As.' Select 'Microsoft Word 2007 XML (.docx)' from the 'File Type' menu. Enter your desired file name, then click 'Save.'
