How to Delete Rulers on Microsoft Word 2007

1. Open the Word 2007 file for which you want to remove the rulers, then click on the 'View Ruler' button located on the right side of the horizontal ruler. The ruler will be removed from the page.
2. Click on the 'Microsoft Office' button from the top right corner of the document. Click on the 'Word Options' button and then a new dialog box will appear on your screen.
3. Click on the 'Advanced' option. Click on the box next to the 'Show vertical ruler in Print Layout' field so that it's deselected.
4. Close out of the dialog box to return to the document. The ruler will be fully removed from the borders of your document.
