How to Crop a Photo in Microsoft Word

1. Open a new Word document.
2. Set the document viewer to 100% so you can see your photo clearly.
3. Insert the photograph from the file source. Use the command from the tool bar on the top: Insert -> Picture -> From file, which will open a dialog that will allow you to choose the photograph from where it is located on the computer. When you have found the photograph you want cropped, double click on it to select it and then click again on 'Insert' to import it into the Word file. The photograph will then open on the screen.
4. Double-click on the photograph itself and you will see that the menu on the toolbar changes. Choose the command 'crop' from the upper-right side of the screen. Your photograph outline will change to an interrupted line. There will be four corners and one middle line on each side.
5. Point the mouse at the middle line on the side you to crop and without lifting your finger from the mouse, push the line inside the photograph to crop the unwanted details. If you point your mouse to any corner, the cropping will be done on both the sides where the corner is placed.
