How to Start Microsoft Office Word As Your Email Editor
Word as Default Email Editor
1. Open Microsoft Outlook 2003 or earlier.
2. Click on 'Tools' and then 'Options.' The 'Options' dialog box appears. Click on the 'Mail Format' tab.
3. Click the checkbox next to 'Use Microsoft Word to edit email messages.' Click 'OK' to close the dialog box. Close and restart Microsoft Outlook. Click on the 'Mail' category and then the 'New' button in the toolbar to start a new message and see Word as your email editor.
For Individual Message
4. Open Microsoft Outlook 2003 or earlier.
5. Click 'Actions' in the menu bar.
6. Point your mouse to 'New Mail Message Using.' Click on 'Microsoft Word (message format).'
